"What’s Your Bid ?”
What's Your Bid?" is a radio auction program aired Saturday mornings from 10 until 11 a.m. on WBGZ. Each week, local merchants make available various products and services which are purchased at below retail prices by the highest bidders.
WBGZ publishes a list of each week's items. The list is available on this web site, is published each week in Today's AdVantage, and is available at the WBGZ studios.
Listeners are urged to peruse the list for items of interest. Stop by the participating merchants to view products, or phone for additional information on services.
Then, tune to Z-1570 each Saturday morning at 10 a.m. We place five items at a time on the auction block. To bid, call 465-1570 while that particular item is on the block. Once you're on the air, state which item you are bidding on, the amount of your bid, and leave your phone number. Continue to listen and if a higher bid is placed, call back with a new bid. When the host decides to sell an item, it goes to the highest bidder.
High bidders are notified by telephone following the program of their successful bid. Purchase order for the items are paid for at the Z-1570 studios and the purchase order is then presented to the participating merchant for redemption.
